[origin: WO2021037487A1] The present invention relates to a cleaning article, e.g. in the form of a cleaning textile or sponge product, which has on at least part of its surface a finish which comprises microcapsules of which the core contains at least one fragrance. This cleaning article is distinguished by having a pleasant smell even when used for a relatively long period of time. Further finishes can serve to provide the cleaning article with good cleaning action both for hydrophilic dirt and for hydrophobic dirt, good dirt take-up properties (dirt-binding properties), good dirt-removal properties when the cleaning article is being rinsed out and/or reduction of soiling during use.
