Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2021037553A1] The invention relates to a method for stabilizing an electric energy grid which has at least one control area, having the following steps relating to the at least one control area: predicting a control area deviation in a future time interval (beginning for example one hour ahead) and the control energy required in said time interval using a function which uses a method from the field of artificial intelligence, preferably a Markov chain; and providing the predicted control energy and feeding same into the electric energy grid in the future time interval. By using the method according to the invention, an excellent ability to quantitatively schedule the request for control energy is achieved which can thus be quantitatively handled as secondary control energy even via an intraday power market for example. The proportion of fluctuating renewable energy of the control energy can also be increased.
