Abstract (en)

[origin: EP4024057A1] A residual current detection method based on magnetic core working state switching. Since a direct-current leakage signal does not fluctuate and a coil cannot sense the signal, the signal needs to be superimposed onto an alternating signal. Therefore, an H-bridge circuit outputs, by using a chip, two states of positive and negative square waves in order to realize an external magnetic field. A bidirectional saturation excitation square wave signal enters a bidirectional saturation region of a magnetic core, and direct-current leakage detection and protection are completed by using different characteristics produced by direct currents in different regions of a magnetization curve and by means of algorithm extraction and discrimination. The alternating-current leakage fluctuates, and works in a linear region of a magnetic core, such that a coil can directly sense a signal, including 50 Hz and high-frequency alternating-currents, for example, 400 Hz, 1 kHz, 20 kHz and 150 kHz, and in this case, the coil does not have an excitation signal, and alternating-current leakage detection and protection are also completed by means of performing an algorithm extraction calculation on data; and complex residual current detection is completed by means of switching between the three states of positive excitation, reverse excitation and non-excitation.
