Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2020187343A1] The invention provides immediate release pharmaceutical compositions comprising amorphous or predominantly amorphous abiraterone acetate or a salt of abiraterone acetate with a higher solubility and bioavailability, compared to the original dosage form comprising crystalline abiraterone acetate. Improvement in solubility was demonstrated in an in-vitro experiment and in-vivo improvement in bioavailability was demonstrated in rat models and human volunteers.
