[origin: WO2021043518A1] The invention relates to a method for measuring an object (1) of a track by means of a laser stripe sensor, in which a scanning line (6) is projected onto a surface (2) of the object (1) by means of a laser (3), and the surface (2) is recorded by means of a digital image recorder (4). According to the invention, the scanning line (6) is projected at periodically varied light intensity, wherein the image recorder (4) records a series (11) of images (12) and wherein image positions (P(x, y)) corresponding in the image series (11) are evaluated together by means of a detection device (13), in order to detect a reproduction of the scanning line (6). The projection of the scanning line (6) is distinguishable from reflections of other light sources by means of the periodically varied light intensity.
