Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2021043564A1] The invention relates to an assembly head (3) used for wrapping a wire harness (12) in an automated manner by means of a winding module (2). Said module has a winding head (10) which rotates about an axis of rotation (24) and, according to a first aspect, has a total of three pressing elements (32a, b, c) having spring-mounted rollers (34), which, during the taping process, press a tape (18) against the wire harness (12) and guide said tape in a centring manner. According to a second aspect, a belt drive having a toothed belt (60) is provided for driving the winding head (10), which toothed belt engages on the circumferential side only in one portion (62) extending over a small angular range (β).
