[origin: WO2021047913A1] In a machine tool - comprising a machine frame, at least one spindle set arranged on the machine frame and having a first workpiece spindle unit and a second workpiece spindle unit, which are arranged on the same side of a working chamber with their spindle axes parallel to one another and at a distance next to one another, and which each comprise workpiece holders facing the working chamber, as well as comprising at least one tool carrier arranged on the machine frame and supporting tools with tool blades, wherein the spindle set and the tool carrier can be moved relative to one another in a controlled manner - in order to increase efficiency, it is proposed that at least one first and at least one second tool blade is arranged on the tool carrier, and that the tool blades have the same relative position in relation to the respective reference point of the respective workpiece spindle unit within predefined processing tolerances in order to process the workpieces.
