[origin: WO2021047940A1] The invention relates to an adjustment head that is provided for use in the working space of a CNC machine having a base station designed and intended for exchanging information with a touch probe or bore gauge, which base station is connected to a controller of the CNC machine. The adjustment head comprises a first functional module and a second functional module. The first functional module is divided into an energy supply module and a data transfer module. The second functional module comprises a machining module for holding at least one tool. The machining module comprises a tool adjustment device for adjusting the tool in a radial direction and/or in an axial direction and/or in an angular orientation of the tool on the basis of specifications of the controller. The energy supply module supplies electrical energy to components of the adjustment head, including the data transfer module and the tool adjustment device. The data transfer module is designed and intended to exchange information concerning at least the adjustment of the tool held in the adjustment head with the base station of the touch probe or of the bore gauge in the working space of the CNC machine.
