[origin: WO2021111268A1] A compression moulding method and apparatus are described, wherein a dose of plastics is deposited on a bottom portion of a first lower half-mould where the dose is laterally contained by lateral containment means comprising at least three elongated elements projecting from the bottom and arranged along a circumference, afterwards the dose is compression-moulded between the first half-mould and one second upper half-mould, with the lateral containment means entering the bottom of the first half-mould, by a retractable sliding movement, such to allow compressing the dose.
