A tray comprises a tray body, formed from a pulpable, fibrous material, and a first polymeric film bonded directly to the tray body. No less than about 50 % of the surface area of the first polymeric film is bonded to the tray body. A sealed container comprises the tray and a cover comprising a second polymeric film bonded to the first polymeric film.
