Abstract (en)

A refrigerator capable of receiving components constituting a freezing cycle system in a mechanical chamber compactly, and effectively discharging the heat released from these components upon operation out of the refrigerator. In the refrigerator (10), a compressor (22), a micro-channel condenser (23), an air blower (21) and an evaporating tray (25) are received in the mechanical chamber (14); a first open area (256), a closed area (257) and a second open area (258) are formed sequentially on an upper surface side of the evaporating tray (25), starting from an upstream side of the air blower (21); when the air blower (21) supplies air, an air passage route (35) and an air circulation route (36) are formed in the mechanical chamber (14).
