[origin: WO2021053087A1] Wound component (2) for a rotary electric machine (1) comprising a plurality of teeth (6) comprising two opposite lateral walls (10), two adjacent teeth (6) delimiting a slot (12) in which electrical conductors (26) are present, each slot (12) being delimited by an end wall (14) and by the lateral walls (10) of two adjacent teeth, each tooth (6) comprising at its free end a tooth root (16) delimited by an internal face (18) facing the end wall (14) of two slots (12), an external face (20) on the opposite side to the internal face (18) and two lateral faces (22), each slot (12) comprising a slot insulator (24) covering the end wall (14) and the lateral walls (10) of said slot (12), characterized in that each slot insulator (24) at least partially covers the lateral faces (22) of the tooth roots (16) delimiting the slot (12).
