Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2021058220A1] The invention relates to a method for monitoring functions of a balise (BL). At least one balise signal emitted from the balise (BL) is read by a reader (LG) via a first interface (S1) and output to a second interface (S2) for further processing. The reader (LG) is operated in a vehicle (FZ) simultaneously with a vehicle balise antenna (FZBA), which activates the balise by means of an activation signal via a third interface (S3). The activated balise (BL) transmits the balise signal to the vehicle balise antenna (FZBA) and the reader (LG) reads the balise signal. The invention furthermore relates to a reader (LG) for balises (BL) and to a vehicle (FZ) having a reader (LG) for balises (BL) and a balise antenna (BLA).
