[origin: WO2021058675A1] The present invention specifies an apparatus (10) for producing a flexible length of material (11) and a method for producing a flexible length of material (11), whereby lengths of material (11) can be produced, in principle, continuously. Free handling of the lengths of material (11) is possible even in the case of the lengths of material (11) having large diameters. It is also possible to scale production with respect to the dimensions of the length of material (11). Moreover, the length of material (11) can be laid in place immediately after production. The flexible lengths of material (11) are thus very cheap and easy to use, for example in the construction of flood-protection systems and military barricades or for specific landscaping purposes.
