[origin: WO2021086280A1] The invention relates to an oven comprising a cavity (1) confining a cooking chamber and a door (10) having an outer panel (12) and an inner panel (16) covering the opening of the cavity (1) in an selectively accessible manner attached parallel to each other at a distance such that providing a cooling channel (5) there between in which an upward cooling airstream (f1) pass through and a lateral plate (50) covering the cooling channel (5) from the side. The oven further comprises a grid element (40) with a plurality of openings (44) of which the cross-sectional area is adjusted such that an auxiliary airstream (f2) supplied from the outside ambient air is mixed to the cooling airstream (f1) through the lateral plate (50) and at least partially covering the cooling channel (5).
