[origin: WO2021058752A1] Method for detecting neutrinos, comprising the following steps: (a) providing free neutrons in a collision area (Z), (b) detecting at least one elementary particle transmitted in the collision area (Z), in particular by detecting the energy and/or the direction thereof, (c) determining, from the detected elementary particle(s), information on at least one neutrino which has arrived in the collision area and has collided with a free neutron present in the collision area (Z).
