[origin: WO2021063810A1] The invention relates to a support (2) for a trolley (6), comprising a running surface which is formed on the support (2) for the trolley (6), an upper chord (3), a lower chord (4), and braces (5) which connect said chords together, wherein the braces (5) are designed to be flat, and each brace has a main surface (5a) which faces away from the support (2) longitudinally between the upper chord (3) and the lower chord (4). The aim of the invention is to provide such a support which is particularly economical to produce. This is achieved in that the flat braces (5) are releasably secured to the upper chord (3) and/or the lower chord (4). The invention additionally relates to an overhead transport device comprising such a support (2) and a trolley (6) which can be moved along the support (2) on the running surface.
