[origin: WO2021063555A1] The invention relates to a method and to a plant for applying glue to a fibrous material in a fibrous material/steam mixture which is conducted via a blow line (1) from a refiner (2) to a glue application device (3) and further to a dryer (4). It is characterized in that the fibrous material/steam mixture is fed to the glue application device (3) in a circumferential direction, as a result of which the fibrous material/steam mixture forms a swirling flow in the glue application device (3). This allows an efficient distribution of the glue with minimum contamination of the inner wall and minimum energy loss.
