[origin: WO2021121685A1] The invention relates to a door handle assembly (3) having a handle support (8), a door handle (4) mounted on the handle support (8) to pivot between an initial position and an operational position, a deflection device (9) coupled for movement with the door handle (4), which is mounted for rotation about a rotational axis (15) on the handle support (8), and a mechanical resistance element (10), which is designed to force the door handle (4), once moved out of the initial position, back into the initial position, wherein, when the door handle (4) is in the initial position, the mechanical resistance element (10) is designed to apply to the door handle (4) a predefined threshold force (16) holding the door handle (4) in the initial position. The deflection device (9) and the mechanical resistance element (10) form a lever system (20), which is designed to apply a resistance force (21) counteracting the movement of the door handle (4) towards the operational position of same and continuously decreasing towards the operational position.
