[origin: WO2021063822A1] The invention relates to a coil element (6, 6') for a coil of an electrical machine comprising at least two conductor elements (10), which run in parallel, for arrangement in slots (3) of a coil former (2) and at least one connecting section (8) which connects the two conductor elements (10) to one another, wherein the conductor elements (10) and the connecting section (10) are formed in one piece, characterized in that a bending point (11, 11') in a plane which is spanned by the two conductor elements (10) is provided only at a transition (9) from one conductor element (10) to the connecting section (8), and in that the connecting section (8) runs in a straight line. Further aspects of the invention are a wave winding for an electrical machine having at least one coil element of this kind, and an electrical machine.
