[origin: WO2022167762A1] The suction assembly comprises a vacuum cleaner casing (3); a suction unit (9); first and second main wheels with are rotatably mounted relative to the vacuum cleaner casing (3); a rechargeable battery (21) configured to electrically supply an electric motor of the suction unit, the rechargeable battery (21) being disposed in a battery compartment (22) located in a lower part of the vacuum cleaner casing (3); an access hatch (26) pivotably mounted relative to the vacuum cleaner casing (3), between a closed position in which the access hatch (26) closes an access opening of the vacuum cleaner casing (3) and prevents a withdrawal of the rechargeable battery (21) from the battery compartment (22), and an open position in which the access hatch (26) releases the access opening and allows a withdrawal of the rechargeable battery (21) from the battery compartment (22). The suction assembly (1) comprises an additional wheel (38) which is mounted on the access hatch (26).
