Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2021069341A1] The invention relates to a rotary closure (10) for a sport article, piece of luggage, or shoe, in particular a sport shoe, comprising a housing part (1) with an axis (3) to which a rotary knob (2) is attached in order to actuate a tensioning roller (6) for a tensioning element, in particular a cable, for the closure (10) in order to wind or release the tensioning element, comprising a first gear (4) which is connected to the rotary knob (2) and has an inner toothing, and comprising a second gear (5) which is rotationally connected to the tensioning roller (6) and has an inner toothing. The aim of the invention is to provide a rotary closure for such a use, comprising a tensioning element, wherein an easy operability and a very compact design with as few necessary components as possible is provided with the rotary closure. According to the invention, this is achieved in that a drive pinion (7) which can be coupled to the gears (4, 5) is provided between said gears, and the drive pinion (7) has a mounting which can be radially moved relative to the drive axis (3) in order to selectively couple the pinion to and release the pinion from the inner toothings of the gears (4, 5).
