[origin: WO2021069571A1] The present invention relates to a polymorph of lorlatinib and to a process for its preparation. The present invention also relates to solvates of lorlatinib, which can be used as intermediates for the preparation of the polymorph of the present invention. Furthermore, the invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising the polymorph of lorlatinib of the present invention, preferably in a predetermined and/or effective amount, and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient. The pharmaceutical composition of the present invention can be used as a medicament, in particular for the treatment and/or prophylaxis of cancers such as non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
