[origin: WO2021104787A1] The present invention relates to an exposure device making it possible to control the exposure time of cells to a study atmosphere, such as an aerosol or a gas. In particular, the invention relates to a device for exposing cells to an atmosphere comprising an upper portion (100) for discharging the study atmosphere and a lower portion (200) comprising a cell culture plate provided with a plurality of exposure chambers, said upper portion (100) being supplied with a study atmosphere and comprising a network of ducts conveying the atmosphere to the exposure chambers, characterized in that: - the upper portion (100) comprises at least one pair of ducts, an atmosphere inlet duct (120) and an atmosphere outlet duct (130), both connected to a deposition nozzle (150), - the nozzle (150) connects in a sealed manner to one of the exposure chambers of the lower portion (200) and comprises a partition (155) separating an atmosphere inlet sub-duct (154) from an atmosphere outlet sub-duct (156) of the exposure chamber, and in which a study atmosphere injected into the exposure chamber is evacuated through the outlet sub-duct (156) of the deposition nozzle (155) by suction, in a controlled time, and while creating an atmosphere passage flow. The invention also relates to a method for studying the effects of exposing cell cultures to an atmosphere.
