Abstract (en)
The invention is about a transition (01) of a combustion section (06) of a gas turbine (04) comprising a bulge (23) and an exit frame (33) and in-between a channel wall (02), wherein a flow channel (03) crosses the transition from an upstream end to a downstream end. To improve the heat transfer without lowering the stream of cooling air the inventive transition comprises at the outer side of the channel wall (02) an uneven surface (11) with dents (12) and troughs (13).
