[origin: WO2021078984A1] The present invention relates to a method for producing a carrier plate, in particular for a flap wheel, comprising the steps of a) providing at least two woven or nonwoven layers, b1) providing at least one layer comprising a woven or nonwoven layer of synthetic or natural fibres and glass fibres, wherein the glass fibres lie on the front side of the woven or nonwoven layer, b2) sewing together the one layer and the layer formed from glass fibres according to b1) using a yarn, c) alternately arranging a layer according to a) and a layer according to ba2) to form a stack of layers, wherein the layers according to a) form the outer layers of the stack, d) sewing together the layers of the layered stack according to c), e) treating the combined stack of layers with a polymer-resin binder, f) curing the polymer-resin binder, g) compressing the wheel obtained according to f), and h) heating the compressed wheel. The invention also relates to a carrier plate, in particular obtained by the method according to the invention, and to a flap wheel containing the carrier plate. Finally, the invention relates to the use of the carrier plate for the production of a flap wheel and to the use of the flap wheel for the working of workpieces.
