[origin: WO2021078423A1] The invention relates to a housing (8) for mounting on an electrical flat conductor rail (2), said housing having: - a flat conductor receptacle (12), which extends along a first axis; and - a connection conductor receptacle (14), which extends perpendicularly to the first axis along a second axis. The flat conductor receptacle (12) and the connection conductor receptacle (14) are formed from a housing top (8a) and a housing bottom (8b), each having an interior and an exterior. When the housing (8) is closed, the housing top and the housing bottom accommodate the flat conductor rail (2) with their interiors facing each other. A shield contact element (16) is arranged on at least one interior. When the housing (8) is closed, the shield contact element (16) lies directly on a shielding conductor (2b) of the flat conductor rail (2).
