[origin: WO2021083875A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a cutter blade for a mowing cutter of an agricultural harvesting machine, wherein a substantially disk-shaped blade blank (1) is provided in a providing step, the blade blank having a lower face (5) extending in a first plane (YZ1) and an upper face (6) extending in a second plane (YZ2); wherein a through-hole (2) connecting the first plane (YZ1) to the second plane (YZ2) is made in the blade blank; and wherein, in a forming step, a region (4) of the blade blank surrounding the through-hole is shaped such that an upper contact surface (7) surrounding the through-hole is created in a third plane (YZ3), the third plane being farther from the first plane, in a normal direction (X) perpendicular to the first plane (YZ1), than the second plane (YZ2) is.
