[origin: WO2021083623A1] The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for filling containers (2) with a liquid content, wherein a splinter protection arrangement (10) has at least one domed absorption element (12) facing the filling stations (FS), and/or flat separator elements (13), of which neighbouring separator elements form a chamber-shaped boundary in that the free end sides of the separator elements (13) are provided at an acute angle to a wall (14) of the splinter protection arrangement running concentrically about a machine axis (MA) in a clamping area, and/or the co-rotating separator elements (11) are designed at least partially as domed absorption elements.
