Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2021110260A1] The present disclosure relates to network entities decentralized network entity authentication in a future mobile Core Network (CN). A first network entity may be a Network Repository Functions (NRF), and is configured to receive a request from a second network entity, which may be a Network Function (NF), wherein the request comprises an ID of a third network entity, which may be another NRF. Further, the first network entity is configured to send a response to the second network entity, wherein the response comprises a verification tool of the third network entity. The second network entity may receive a service request from a fourth network entity, which may be another NF, wherein the service request comprises a certificate of the fourth network entity, and wherein the certificate of the fourth network entity is signed by the third network entity. The second network entity may then be configured to verify the certificate with the verification tool of the third network entity.
