The attachment (A) comprises a housing (G) and an attachment nipple (4) for connection to a respiratory air coupling (3) of a respiratory air hose (2) of an external respiratory air source. The housing (G) has at least one pressure-reducing arrangement (12, 13, 14, 15) and/or an air pressure alarm (12, 13, 19, 20), wherein the attachment nipple (4) is designed for connecting to a conventional clean respiratory air coupling (3).
