[origin: WO2021089615A1] A subject of the invention is a refill (20) for a device (2) for treating, in particular straightening, the hair, having: - a reservoir (23) of elongate shape along a longitudinal axis (X), defining a cavity (32) containing a cosmetic composition to be applied to the hair, the reservoir (23) having a flank (36) for mounting the refill on the device, extending parallel to the longitudinal axis of the reservoir (X), - a porous application member (26) for applying the cosmetic composition to the hair, of elongate shape and extending parallel to the longitudinal axis (X) of the reservoir (23), the application member (26) being fitted in a slot- shaped opening (31) in the reservoir (23) that leads into the cavity (32), this opening (31) being offset laterally toward the mounting flank (36), relative to a median plane (M) of the cavity (32) that contains the longitudinal axis (X) of the reservoir (23) and is parallel to the mounting flank (36).
