Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2021089679A1] The invention relates to a solar assembly for generating solar power, comprising at least three solar modules (8) which have a mounting frame (4) and solar cells (6), at least two base elements (12), connection elements (14) for interconnecting the mounting frames (4), and support elements (16) for connecting the mounting frames (4) to one of the base elements (12), wherein each of the mounting frames (4) has two first lateral edges (18) running parallel to the base elements (12) and at least two additional second lateral edges (20), each of the connection elements (14) connects two respective first lateral edges (18) of at least two pairs of mounting frames (4) together at a specified angle of less than 180°, and at least three mounting frames (14) are connected together along the first lateral edges (18) and form a curved solar module section (22). The invention solves the technical problem of providing a solar assembly for generating solar power with an improved use of the surface area of the underlying surface.
