Die Erfindung betrifft eine Sprühelektrode (1) für einen Elektrofilter, gebildet aus einem sich in einer Ebene erstreckenden Blechstreifen (10) mit einer Längsachse (L), der an seinen Längsrändern mit quer zur Längsachse (L) abstehenden Sprühspitzen (11) ausgebildet ist, wobei die Sprühspitzen (11) jeweils einen Fuß- und einen Spitzenabschnitt (110, 111) aufweisen, wobei die Fußabschnitte (110) in der Ebene verlaufen und die Spitzenabschnitte (111) an beiden Längsrändern entgegengesetzt um einen Winkel (a) gegenüber der Ebene geneigt angeordnet sind. Es wird ferner auch ein Elektrofilter mit einer solchen Sprühelektrode angegeben.
