Abstract (en)
A combined hydrogen, oxygen and carbon dioxide segregated and sequestered production system (1) comprising: an electrolysis plant (2) configured to receive water and electrical energy (E<sub>1</sub>, E<sub>2</sub>) as an input and provide hydrogen and oxygen in gaseous form as an output; and an electricity generation plant (4) which is provided with a thermal engine (5) and an electrical generator (6) which is driven in rotation by the thermal engine (5) and generates at least part of the electrical energy (E<sub>2</sub>) used by the electrolysis plant (2). The thermal engine (5) is operated in closed cycle without drawing in fresh air from the atmosphere, without releasing exhaust gases into the atmosphere, and using the oxygen generated by the electrolysis plant (2) for combustion.
