[origin: WO2021094155A1] The invention relates to a handle device (5) on a machine tool (1), in particular a hammer drill, comprising a drive (3), a controller (4), and a transmission device (6), said handle device containing a lever element which can be pivoted relative to a housing (2) of the machine tool. The lever element can be reversibly moved relative to the housing of the machine tool by exerting a force in a direction (A), and a sensor device (13) is included for detecting at least one first or second position of the lever element relative to the housing of the machine tool, wherein a first rotational speed is set for the drive if the first position of the lever element relative to the housing of the machine tool is detected, and a second rotational speed is set for the drive if the second position of the lever element relative to the housing of the machine tool is detected.
