[origin: WO2021099323A1] The invention relates to a container closure (11) for closing the pouring opening (33) of a container (13), comprising: a screw cap (15), which has a free edge (25); a tamper-proof ring (17), which is connected to the free edge (25) of the lateral wall (15) by means of predetermined breaking webs (63) and has engagement means (37); a first arm (19a), which has a first and a second arm end (39, 41), the first end (39) being fixedly connected to the free edge (25) of the screw cap (15) and the second end (41) being fixedly connected to the tamper-proof ring (17); and a second arm (19b), which has a third and a fourth arm end (51, 53), the third end (51) being fixedly connected to the free edge (25) of the screw cap (15) and the fourth end (53) being fixedly connected to the tamper-proof ring (17). The tamper-proof ring is an open ring (17) having a first and a second ring end (20a, 20b). The second arm end (41) adjoins the first ring end (20a), and the fourth arm end (53) adjoins the second ring end (20b). A tongue (65) is formed on the free end (25) of the screw cap (15) between the first and the third arm ends (39, 41).
