[origin: WO2021105003A1] The invention relates to a brush reworking apparatus for removing excessively protruding bristles (14) from a group of bristles (16), which apparatus has at least three parallel, plate-like clamping parts (24-34), each of which has a wedge-shaped, tapered boundary edge (38). The clamping parts (24-34) divide the group of bristles (16) into segments and are moved toward each other such that bristles (14) protruding between adjacent clamping parts are clamped and then pulled out. The invention furthermore relates to a method for reworking brushes.
