[origin: WO2021104755A1] The invention relates to a flat composite material (1') for producing a packaging (20), comprising a polymer outer layer, a polymer inner layer and a fibre-containing carrier layer, which is arranged between the polymer outer layer and the polymer inner layer, wherein the flat composite material (1') has a plurality of folding lines which are designed and arranged such that a closed packaging (20) can be produced by folding the flat composite material (1') along the folding lines and by connecting joining surfaces of the flat composite material (1'); the composite material also comprises the following regions: a casing surface (3), wherein the casing surface (3) has a front surface (14), a first lateral surface (16A), a second lateral surface (16B), a first rear surface (15A) and a second rear surface (15B); base surfaces (5), wherein the base surfaces (5) include three-sided base surfaces (51) and four-sided base surfaces (5"); and gable surfaces (6), wherein the gable surfaces (6) include three-sided gable surfaces (6') and four-sided gable surfaces (6"), wherein the base surfaces (5) and the gable surfaces (6) are arranged on opposite sides of the casing surface (3). In order to allow for the production of packaging with even more complex geometries without negatively impacting the rigidity of the packaging, it is proposed that the casing surface (3) has at least one supporting surface (17A, 17B), which is arranged between the front surface (14) and one of the two lateral surfaces (16A, 16B). The invention also relates to a packaging casing (9') made of a composite material, and a packaging (20) made of a composite material and produced from the composite material (1') or the packaging casing (9').
