[origin: WO2021105853A1] An aerosol generating substrate element includes an aerosol generating substrate comprising a glycerine content of between about 10% and about 30% and at least one paper layer circumscribing the aerosol generating substrate. The paper layer has a thickness in a range from about 78 micrometers to about 160 micrometers. At least about 80% of the aerosol generating substrate circumference is circumscribed by less than two paper layers.
