[origin: WO2021110749A1] A holder (109) is insertable into an aerosol generation device (100) arranged for heating an aerosol substrate (128) carried by a substrate carrier (114) to generate an aerosol. The holder (109) is arranged, when inserted into the aerosol generation device (100), for receiving the aerosol substrate (128) carried by the substrate carrier (114). The holder (109) has a rim (107) defining an opening (110), the rim (107) extending around a central axis (C) at a first radial distance (R1) from the central axis (C), along which central axis (C) the substrate carrier (114) is insertable through the opening (110) into the holder (109). The holder further comprises at least two engagement elements (140), each of the engagement elements (140) having an elongate portion (144) extending generally parallel to the central axis (C) between a first end (142a) joined to the rim (107) and a second end (142b) distal from the rim (107). Each engagement element (140) does not have any electrical heating element for supplying heat to the aerosol substrate (128) and each elongate portion (144) is located a second radial distance (R2) from the central axis (C), wherein the second radial distance (R2) is smaller than the first radial distance (R1).
