[origin: WO2021110273A1] The present invention relates to a method for producing multi-layered microcapsules, in particular multi-layered fragrance capsules or odorant capsules, which have improved stability and release of fragrance or odorant in comparison with capsules from the prior art. The present invention additionally relates to multi-layered microcapsules which comprise at least one hydrophobic fragrance or odorant and are obtainable by the method according to the invention. In a further aspect, the invention described herein relates to multi-layered microcapsules comprising a core, comprising at least one hydrophobic fragrance or odorant, and a capsule shell. In addition, the present invention relates to the use of the multi-layered microcapsules and suspensions of the multi-layered microcapsules as a component of detergents, fabric softeners, cleaning agents, scent boosters (fragrance enhancers) in liquid or solid form, cosmetics, bodycare products, agricultural products or pharmaceutical products.
