Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2021110367A1] The invention relates to a bread cutting machine (1) for cutting a bread loaf (B) in slices, having a machine housing (2) which receives a drive motor (3) and a cutting blade (5) that is driven by the drive motor, is held on a blade arm (4), and rotates on a cutting plane (E). The bread cutting machine comprises a feed shaft (6) for introducing the bread loaf (B) to be cut, a receiving shaft (7) which adjoins the feed shaft (6) up to a blade gap (5') for receiving all of the slices (S) of the cut bread loaf, and a bagging aid for wrapping a bag-shaped packaging means together with the slices of the cut bread loaf lying thereon over the bagging aid, wherein the bagging aid comprises a claw section (8). The invention is characterized in that the exterior dimensions of the feed shaft are larger than the maximum exterior dimensions of the bread loaf in the directions parallel to the cutting plane, the exterior dimensions of the claw section parallel to the cutting plane at at least one free end (8') facing away from the feed shaft are smaller than the exterior dimensions of the feed shaft in said directions, and the receiving shaft is designed as the bagging aid with the claw section and is arranged within a cover (2') of the machine housing. In this manner, the bagging aid is integrated into the bread cutting machine in a structurally simple and space-saving manner while increasing the protection of a user from an accidental engagement.
