Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2021111084A1] The invention relates to a tool (1) for local contact cooling of a glass sheet (2) to a temperature above 450°C, which tool is referred to as the contact tool, comprising a contact face intended to come into contact with the glass sheet, the tool comprising an inner pipe (5) for circulating a cooling fluid, in particular air. The tool (1) is used in a device for bending and/or cooling a glass sheet, in particular an individual glass sheet, the tool coming into contact with the glass sheet while the latter is supported by a bending tool or by a cooling frame after bending. A compression area is created which can be drilled to form an edge having compressive stresses.
