Handle (100) for a sliding door comprising a rotatable knob (10) provided with an outer portion (11), defining frontally a manual gripping region for a user, and an inner portion (12). The handle (100) further comprises a pawl (20) provided with an outer portion (21), an inner portion (22) telescopically couplable with the inner portion (12) of the knob (10). The handle (100) further comprises, for each of said knob (10) and pawl (20), a washer (30) that is applicable stably to a hole made in the sliding door (P) and provided with a central opening, by which the washer (30) is fitted to the knob (10) or to the pawl (20). At least between one of the washers (30) and the respective knob (10) or pawl (20) a connecting ring (40) is interposed that is fitted stably to a receiving portion (14, 24) of the knob (10) or of the pawl (20) and provided with an annular recess (41) within which a circular edge (30a) is housed stably, defining the central hole of the washer (30).
