[origin: US2022329956A1] A self-diagnosis method performed in audio playback equipment including an audio playback unit having at least one loudspeaker and an audio capture unit having at least one microphone includes the steps of acquiring or producing emission audio test signals and outputting them via the loudspeaker(s), thereby producing sound test signals; acquiring reception audio test signals produced by the microphone(s) as a result of the microphones receiving the sound test signals; and analyzing the reception audio test signals in order to establish a first diagnosis of the audio playback unit and a second diagnosis of the audio capture unit.

Procédé d'auto-diagnostic mis en œuvre dans un équipement de restitution audio (1) comportant une unité de restitution audio (2) comprenant au moins un haut-parleur (7) et une unité de capture audio (3) comprenant au moins un microphone (10), le procédé d'auto-diagnostic comportant les étapes de :- acquérir ou produire des signaux audio de test émis (Se) et les diffuser via le ou les haut-parleurs (7) qui génèrent alors des signaux sonores de test (So) ;- acquérir des signaux audio de test reçus (Sr) produits par le ou les microphones (10) et résultant d'une réception par le ou les microphones (10) des signaux sonores de test ;- analyser les signaux audio de test reçus pour établir un premier diagnostic de l'unité de restitution audio (2) et un deuxième diagnostic de l'unité de capture audio (3).
