[origin: WO2021116249A1] The invention relates to a method for generating a tactile sensation intended to be sensed by a user (101) in contact, in two separate regions, with a contact surface (110) of a haptic interface (100), comprising an operation of simultaneously emitting a first control signal for controlling a first actuator (120) and a second control signal for controlling a second actuator (120) at the same time as the first actuator, the first and second actuators being joined to the contact surface and bringing about movements of said contact surface, characterized in that the first and second actuators determine a superimposition of movements of the contact surface (110) such that the movements of the two designated regions of the same contact surface follow predetermined trajectories that are independent of one another. The method of the invention is applicable with the same features if the number of actuators is greater than two and if the number of regions is greater than two, as long as the total number of actuators is greater than the number of regions. The invention also relates to a haptic interface (100) implementing this method.
