Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2021116039A1] The invention relates to an electric motor (1) of an AC voltage-operated handheld power tool (2), comprising a stator (6) which has a plurality of windings (9) which are accommodated in a stator laminated core (10) and have basic electrical insulation from said stator laminated core, in which stator laminated core a rotor (7) is mounted such that it can rotate about a rotation axis (8), wherein the rotor (7) has a rotor shaft (11) on which a rotor laminated core (12) comprising a plurality of permanent magnets (13) is held, the rotor laminated core being electrically insulated from the rotor shaft (11), characterized in that the stator (6) is surrounded by a motor housing (15) which is electrically insulated from the windings (9) of the stator (6), and in that an additional electrical insulation (16) is formed between the motor housing (15) and the rotor shaft (11).
