Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2021122001A1] The invention relates to a wide slot nozzle for applying a fluid that contains particles, said wide slot nozzle having a nozzle body (2). The nozzle body (2) comprises a nozzle inner chamber (6) for receiving the fluid that contains particles. The fluid containing the particles can be dispensed via a nozzle gap (7), which is delimited by two walls, onto a substrate (20) moving in a transport direction (TR) relative to the wide slot nozzle. A vibration device (16) is mechanically coupled to the nozzle body (2) in order to cause the nozzle gap (7) and the fluid located in the nozzle internal chamber (6) and containing the particles to vibrate. The vibration device (16) is designed to excite the nozzle body (2) at an upper limit frequency of 1kHz at maximum.
