[origin: WO2021121665A1] The invention relates to a banknote-processing device (1), comprising a first sensor assembly (2) and a second sensor assembly (3), which lies opposite the first sensor assembly (2), wherein a banknote transport path (8) for banknotes is formed between the first sensor assembly (2) and the second sensor assembly (3), by means of which transport path the banknotes are transported for sensing by means of the sensor assemblies (2, 3); wherein the second sensor assembly (3) is arranged on a holding unit (10) of the banknote-processing device (1), which holding unit can be moved for maintenance work; wherein the holding unit (10) is arranged in an operating position (11) during operation and in a maintenance position (12) during maintenance; and wherein the banknote-processing device (1) has at least one guide element (14) and the holding unit (10) is designed to be slid from the operating position (11) into the maintenance position (12) along a guide path (13) by means of guidance by the at least one guide element (14).
